About Us

Perfect Tender builds custom aluminum hull rigid inflatable boats (RIBS). We use only the best aluminum acid-bathed and powder-coated hulls. All of our consoles and seats are also made of aluminum. There is no fiberglass or plastic in our RIBS. We use all aluminum because of its strength and durability and because it is environmentally friendly to the ocean. These RIBS also have a much better fuel economy. Aluminum, unlike fiberglass, is completely recyclable.

Our RIBS come in four different styles, we start with a single hull without consoles. The only option is a built-in bow locker.

The Console series contains a flat deck and a shallow bilge allowing you to keep your feet dry. We have a myriad of choices of consoles and seating arrangements. You can also have a fuel tank installed in the bow locker and conceal a fuel line in the hull.

The next series we call the Keel series, which has a simple keel with strakes. They are made out of 3-4 mm thick aluminum, depending on the size of the boat. This series have integral fuel tanks and again your choice of consoles and seating. These hulls have a 20-degree deadrise. These boats are made for rough weather.

The last is the Offshore series, which is made of 4-5 mm thick aluminum, depending on size on the boat, with integral fuel tanks. A bench seat in the rear is standard and consoles are standard, and you can choose from one of our many console options. The hull has a 24-degree deadrise and is built for a comfortable, dry ride in adverse weather conditions.

You have your choice of tube selection on all of our RIBS. We use heavy-duty 1.2 mm PVC only. There is an option for C.S.M. Chloro-sulfonated polyethylene (Hypalon).

Choosing your inflatable tube construction depends on how the boat will be used and your budget. C.S.M./Hypalon has many advantages, but both tube selections have pros and cons. A few pros of C.S.M. are its resistance to sunlight, its strength, its durability, and its resistance to chemical and fuel spills. However, the benefit of PVC is that all seams are welded, not glued. It is cost-effective and has the ability to retain air pressure. A discussion on tube selection and reasons should be held with your salesman. All boats can be trailered on a single axle non-braked trailer. They are easy to launch and recover, and RIBS up to 16 feet can be towed, launched, and recovered by any all-terrain vehicle i.e. Subaru Forester. The colors of the tubes are optional, there are six different colors: gray, black, red, white, yellow, and blue. Two colors can be used when custom ordering. Please feel free to contact us so that we may discuss your boating needs.

We also offer a full line of soft bottom roll-up inflatable dingys (with inflatable keels) from 8′ 10″ to 14′ 9″ in 1.2mm heavy-duty PVC or 1mm hypalon. Aluminum floorboards for strength and stability are included.

Power options: We offer environmentally friendly Elco electric outboard motors with lithium-ion batteries as well as fuel-efficient Yamaha four-stroke gas-powered outboards. Contact us for details.
